ECO-OZE-PV is an advanced energy management system (EMS) developed by Zamel that optimizes the use of energy produced by photovoltaic installations. The device monitors current energy production and automatically activates household appliances, such as heaters in domestic hot water tanks, when energy is supplied by photovoltaics. This increases self-consumption, leads to significant savings and more efficient energy use.

ECO-OZE-PV is an advanced device designed to optimize the operation of photovoltaic micro-installations, increase self-consumption and manage voltage in the home installation. The energy-intensive heating of water is performed when self-production takes place. However, lack of solar energy does not mean that the water will not be heated. In such case, the ECO-OZE-PV will take the energy from the grid to the extent necessary to achieve the minimum set temperature.

 


Increasing of auto-consumption

ECO-OZE-PV allows the operation of electrical appliances in home together with the current production of the photovoltaic system. For example, the heater in the domestic hot water tank can be triggered when the electricity in home comes from the current production of the PV system. This allows the device to increase self-consumption of energy, which then helps to achieve significantly more favourable values ​​in the prosumer's settlement with the power company.

Intelligent voltage management

ECO-OZE-PV helps locally reduce voltage for users experiencing voltage spikes above 253V, which can lead to emergency shutdowns of PV inverters. The device monitors the voltage level in the electrical grid and activates the chosen receiver to prevent voltage from exceeding the maximum level.

ECO-OZE-PV is an ideal solution for prosumers, who can control the amount of energy produced, consumed through self-consumption and given back into the grid. The device allows you to select an operating mode in which energy is given back into the grid only after a pre-defined task is completed, such as heating water in the tank. Device operation modes

ECO-OZE-PV offers several operating modes that can be customized to individual needs using the convenient LAVVA app interface:

Test mode:the installer manually sets a value to do configuration tasks or force the receiver to turn on. A 5-second test load can also be used to test its influence on voltage reduction.

Eco mode:Modulated phase loading to ensure the voltage does not exceed a set value (from 200 V to 270 V). This mode uses a temperature sensor to monitor the water temperature in the tank (from 40°C to 80°C).

Comfort mode:Similar to eco mode, but the device starts taking energy from the grid when the micro-installation does not generate enough energy to maintain the set temperature in the water tank.

Full self-consumption:All power produced by the photovoltaic system is directed to household appliances and the heaters in the water tank. The measurement module tracks the current flow direction and adjusts the load to heat the tank with the additional energy.

Self-consumption with limited power output:the maximum power that the user wants to put into the grid is set and all additional power is directed to household appliances and the heaters in the water tank.

Self-consumption with relaysSelf-consumption is managed using devices connected through relays, while maintaining the logic and functionality of other self-consumption modes.

Dealing with tariffs from energy suppliers

The ECO-OZE-PV optimizer can take into account the tariffs of individual polish energy suppliers. It is possible to control connected loads so that their operation is triggered not only when the photovoltaic system's own production occurs, but also during the most favorable periods.
